These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BYTE application operated by Reaves Labs and Learning, LLC ("RLL," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the application, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account on behalf of a child, you accept these Terms on the child's behalf and agree to supervise the child's use of the application.

2. Age Requirements

BYTE is designed for children and families. Users under 13 years of age must have verifiable parental consent before creating an account or providing any personal information. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the application.

3. Use of the Application

You agree to use the application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the application in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the application or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the application.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application.
• Use the application to transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content.

4. Educational Content

BYTE is an educational application. All content is provided for learning and informational purposes. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all educational content is error-free or complete.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, designs, code, trademarks, and other intellectual property within the application are owned by Reaves Labs and Learning, LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and patent laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. User Accounts

Parents or guardians are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activity that occurs under accounts they manage. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reaves Labs and Learning, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the application, regardless of the theory of liability.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reaves Labs and Learning, LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the application or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the application at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, the right to use the application ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version within the application. Your continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
